This unit is 100% working condition, properly inspected and fully serviced, everything works as it should.
This awesome Akai MPC 2000XL w/maxed RAM installed has been fully serviced with all brand new tact switches (no need to press hard or press several times), brand new jog wheel and fader slider posts, so basically you have brand new boards here... also it was cleaned inside and outside completely, LCD display is bright and clear with no lines or dead pixels.32MB RAM (for max sampling time) also installed.Comes with internal 250MB ZIP drive (can use both 100MB & 250MB ZIP disks) and I will also include 1 x 250MB ZIP disk and a power cable to help you start making beats just out of the box!This is a used unit and being almost 20 years old (the Akai MPC2000XL was released in 1999!) you can expect some signs of wear like small scratches/dents but all that is just cosmetic and it is expected in a unit this old, but as stated before everything was replaced inside so it is working as new, as you can see this unit have a scratch next to the PLAY START button (check last picture) but I can guarantee this is just cosmetic and it won't affect the item functioning at all.Please refer to pics to see the item in detail since pictures are considered part of the item description take a very good look on them (you can ZOOM on them)What's included?1 x Akai MPC2000XL1 x 250MB ZIP Disk1 x Power Cable.Why you should order from us?Simple!We are the only store on eBay who actually service the units to sell, you are going to find a few more sellers with a few units listed but they are not techs, some of them will try to trick you with quotes like "fader doesn't work but you won't need it" "some buttons needs extra pressure" or the now classic scam quote "LCD display has some lines but you can still read" If you are new into MPCs I will give you a short guide, if they don't know why the fader slider is installed on the MPC they don't know how to rock the machine, so why you will trust a seller saying such a thing? then if the buttons needs "extra pressure" that means they will soon stop working and you will need to pay hundreds to your local tech in order to get them replaced, why you would like to buy a machine that will need service in a couple months?
