Transparent brown finish, some mild scratches on the front and sides, back has a belt buckle wear spot in two places, Overall for a 44 year old guitar it has moderate normal playing wear.  In VERY GOOD CONDITION.  S/N 525222 found on the neck plate, I have not removed the neck.  Maple neck with walnut black stripe. "bullet" truss rod adjustment at the peghead, and three-bolt neck fastening system, Original tuners and string trees. Two original Fender Seth Lover humbucking pick-ups, All Original including the case.The guitar plays and sounds great.  I play it thru several amps, Marshall Studio 15, PRS "Dallas" combo amp, Mesa Boogie "Trans-Atlantic", Fender "Blues JR", it sounds great with each one.  It is a real player guitar.  If your looking for that humbucker sound in a Fender this is your guitar.
