DescriptionVintage 1980's Roland GR-300 Analog Synthesizer & G-303 Controller Unit At the end of the 1970s, Roland Corporation introduced the world to the GR-300 analog guitar synthesizer. While there have been numerous advancements in music technology since then, the GR-300 remains the pinnacle of analog guitar synthesis. Although the sound palette of the GR-300 is very limited, the GR-300 has the fastest, most accurate tracking ever developed. Unlike much of guitar-to-MIDI pitch recognition technology, the GR-300 guitar synthesizer does not require the player to adapt technique to get astonishing results. Notable users include Chuck Hammer, Pat Metheny, Robert Fripp, Andy Summers, Shawn Lane & Paul CradickService History We pride ourselves on our inspection and set up of each guitar, making this ready to plug in and play. Please note that this is set up to a standard The Music Locker deems saleable. Cosmetic Inspection Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description. This is in brilliant condition. An absolute beauty! We struggle to find anything worth mentioning other than the visible dings & knocks. Please bear in mind this guitar & controller is over 30 years old so it'll not be in the exact condition it left the factory. Originality In our opinion, this is all original except for the upgraded Kahler tremolo system & locking nut. Summary Overall, this is a very rare and collectable guitar. Not only is this sure to increase in value year on year, but also it can be an enjoyed investment. You're more than welcome to come along and have a play on this through one of our vintage amplifiers! Where else but at The Music Locker! If you click and buy through eBay, please pay (or make contact) with us within 24 hours, in order to let us know your payment plan. We?re happy to accommodate in whatever way we can, as long as we know. We pride ourselves on our affordable, high quality and safe worldwide shipping. Please see the exact quote for your country. A deal can be done on any item collected as we strive to keep the risk of breakages as low as possible for such delicate beauties.
