1964 Gibson F-25 Folksinger wide neck B-25 LG2 vintage acoustic guitar EXC+++

Up for a Buy It Now or B/O is a really exceptional example of a one owner 1964 Gibson F-25 Folksinger, s/n 226813. This guitar has basically zero play wear at all. The original finish has some light checking, and a few minor dings here and there, but other than that it shines like new, and there is ZERO pickwear to the guards or top finish, so I would say due to the fact that it was strung with nylon (and still is with the old strings), that it was never played with a pick. The neck shows ZERO fret wear, zero fingerboard wear, and is laser straight. The original Kluson Deluxe single line tuners look and function as new. Absolutely zero cracks or repairs to the guitar ever. These guitars are pretty rare, especially in this condition. The X braced (same as a LG2) tops were designed to take standard steel or classical (nylon) strings (and of course silk and steels could be used) as this was kind of a crossover model with a wide 2" nut, but braced for steel, and with standard tuners, pin bridge and an adjustable truss rod (works perfect) in the neck. The strings are ANCIENT nylons, and will need to be replaced. The guitar comes shipped in its original Gibson brass badged (on the compartment cover) alligator case is in nice condition, but the stitching is coming undone on the lid near where the handle is when closed, other than that a pretty clean case.
