Tradition Guitars began its humble beginnings in a horse barn in Indiana. Jim was a true veteran of the musical instrument market. He had spent more than 30 years of his life selling, marketing, and developing instruments. After years of witnessing the success as well as the failure of many well known guitar companies, Tradition Guitars was formed. Jim’s idea was simple...

Jim Matthews’ family and partners took the reins and have vowed to make Tradition Guitars the company that Jim always knew it could be. Our guitars are represented in almost every state in the United States as well as 9 other countries. You’ll be surprised at what we are capable of offering to any type of guitar player. The G120 DELUXE includes the new Trem King Fixed Bridge Vibrato System that 'Stays in Tune' Trem King, The Fixed Bridge Vibrato System The TREM KING Vibrato System was born out of the desire of a player to have a useable vibrato for guitar that stays in tune all the time. Whether you are dive-bombing, doing reverse bends, drop tuning or playing double stops, the TREM KING will do just that. The Fixed Bridge Concept The newly patented TREM KING is a vibrato system for guitars that uses the fixed bridge concept. The bridge plate is fixed to the body of the guitar. The saddles are fixed to the bridge and do not move. The intonation point and string height never change as with many other designs. All the action happens inside the guitar. And the best part is NOTHING happens until you touch the vibrato bar. The Vibrato Action The bar inserts directly into the tone block for the best leverage. The tone block pivots back and forth to provide the vibrato action. The TREM KING is able to act as a fixed bridge because the critical balance of string tension versus spring pressure combined with the patented Tension Bar. The tone block only moves when the vibrato bar is moved. When you use the vibrato bar, the tension bar brings the tone block back to the same Zero Point time after time. Two springs are normally all that are necessary to provide this balance. This allows for very light (2 lbs.) pressure to actuate the vibrato. The feel is precise and smooth. Get A Grip Along with the exclusive Grip Tip Vibrato Bar that has an adjustable rubber tip, the TREM KING is a joy to play. There is no locking nut necessary on the TREM KING. You can drop tune and not have to re-tune all the other strings. If you break a string while playing, your guitar will stay in tune and you can finish the song. The strings are easily and quickly replaced by loading through the bottom of the tone block with no cutting or special tools necessary. The TK-1 is a drop in replacement for most vintage style tremolo units. Some routing inside the spring cavity may be needed on certain models. Installation instructions and a template showing the necessary cutout is provided with each unit.The TK-2 is designed for guitars that have a slanted single coil pickup mount on the bridge plate. The vibrato works exactly the same as the TK-1, but uses a different bridge plate. Routing of a spring cavity is necessary for installation.The TK-3 is designed for other style solid and semi-hollow body guitars with no existing trem route. This model features a smaller footprint than traditional trems. The TK-3 functions the same as the other models.
