1953 Gretsch 6130 Roundup, serial 121xx
(from the very first batch of Roundups)Pine top, with two large knots.Excellent overall condition.To the best of my knowledge, all original with all gold hardware, including gold waverly tuners, gold Melita, gold smooth top knobs, gold DeArmond pickups.
Overspray on the back of the neck and back of the guitar.
Period correct repro Pickguard.Neck is quite chunky (about 0.95'' at first fret) with low action all over the fretboard. Frets in good condition (first frets show more usage).
Please note that the strings are slightly off-centered on top of the pickups.
Comes with original tweed case with correct pinkish lining. Case is in excellent condition, sturdy with all latches working. Lining shows some disintegration only below the guitar's body lower bout (please check pics). The rest is fine.This guitar comes with its European Union CITES certificate.SHIPPINGPersonal inspection and pickup are strongly recommended but shipping options can also be discussed.
