Yep, find another one of these!!! Ridgey didge, 2000 Gretsch 3110 jazzbox, new old stock. I couldn't believe that this has been sitting around for 16-17 years untouched. Bridge pickup wasn't working and bridge was missing. Pickup turned out to be a broken hot wire which has been repaired and an original bridge was sourced from USA, although doesn't have gold thumbscrews and pillars (I'm working on that). On the back, just about smack dab centre, is a 4mm round shallow ding or maybe paint defect. It appears to be just on the surface, is definitely not into the wood. The more I look at it the more I am sure it is not a ding and is just a paint defect, possibly a bubble. It is a very shallow, dulled spot, with no shattering or other indications that it might have been a ding. Might be why this guitar was put aside. Only other issue is that one volume knob has faded gold plating to half of the top so that it looks half gold and half silver. Just sounds magic. I'm just putting this out there, if it doesn't sell I won't be sad. I could see myself playing this. In fact, if you see it delisted it's because I've changed my mind. Just check the reviews of these guitars!
