For sale is a beautiful Gibson J-185 Historic Collection guitar. It plays/sounds/looks great. There is very little wear on this instrument...no dings, scratches, etc. The guitar has been professionally set-up and equipped with an active LR Baggs IBeam. It is approximately 10-12 years old, for most of which time it had been unplayed and stored in a dry Denver climate. I purchased it a year ago and the seller humidified it in a chamber before sending. This caused some checking to the finish on the top and sides. I have tried to capture it in the pictures, but it is difficult to see. If you like the look/sound of vintage guitars, this will be a plus because cosmetic checking tends to open up the sound. There is also normal pick wear. As I am not a professional photographer, the camera has captured some light reflections - these are not blemishes. I am selling it because I already have 3 guitars and am downsizing. Free shipping within the continental US only.
