This is a 2016 Gibson Dove Custom in the uber-rare Trans Black finish! The guitar features flamed maple back and sides, a Sitka spruce top, and a maple neck. The woods are top quality and beautiful! The finish appears darker in the photos than in person. The flamed maple is visible through the finish when viewed in person and is gorgeous!One of the cooler features on this guitar is the use of Imperial tuners. These are the luxury tuners generally reserved for the high-end Gibson SJ-200s. I've never seen them used on a Dove before. Very classy.This guitar has the tone to match its looks. It has a very tight and focused sound with plenty of volume. The trebles have a crystalline quality which allow them to cut through the chords. What a guitar!The guitar is brand new and unplayed.
