1978 Ibanez Artist 2617Very good condition.  About 4 minor dings/chips on the back/side, but otherwise it's in very good condition.It recently had a fret dressing/level and fretboard cleaning by Greg Rupp of GR Basses, and the fretboard looks great!(It's as nice a fretboard as you'll find on a vintage 2617!)This guitar is only being sold to help pay for my daughter's college education.If not for that there is no way I would sell this guitar.  It sounds way too good to let it go for any other reason.But it's the guitar that can help fund her college education the most, so it has to go.And it really sounds AMAZING!This is a TONE MONSTER!  Seriously, it has warmth, but also clarity and crispness.The tone would work perfectly for Classic Rock, Country, Jazz, and even old school Heavy Metal!The guitar comes with the original hardshell case (love that green interior!), and even has the original machine head tool!It was purchased from it's previous owner in Japan 10 years ago,and has been kept in it's case in a closet for most of the last decade, only brought out to play once in a while.It comes with the original, "Flying Fingers," Super 80 pickups, which help create that great tone!Guitar will ship on the first Saturday following purchase and payment.Shipping to the U.S. Only.
