Description
This is very early D12 (Serial Number only 1083!) - original version from 50´ (don´t mix it D12VR - modern mic which sounds different). VERY RARE nowadays in this state. It has a metal frame with original brown hammerite painting. Later versions had plastic frame which cracks time to time while this metal one is forever! This mic is in very nice optical shape (see pics) and sounds great with full bass response! Collectors item and also great thing to have in studio which is increasing it´s value in time! Check my feedbacks (all for old mics) and buy with confidence! If I say it is in perfect condition then it really is.The AKG D12 is one of the most famous mics. First it is bass instruments specialist (bass guitar, kick drum, etc). But during decades people found it is a great mic for many purposes - guitar cab or voice for example (I am a singer and it is my favourite mic!). In 60-70´s they were used in radios... I collect old mics so swap for some other interesting old microphone or parts welcomed. For example I am looking for AKG C12 switchbox called AKG S12 or U12 (even empty shell) and connectors! I have more vintage mics for sale now (I may send you a list)... Write me to my email if you are interested: smichoffATcentrumDOTcz. Shipping and Payment:
Varies by buyer’s location. Examples: Germany - USD12, U.S.A. - USD 27. Other countries please asks for quote before bidding! SHIPPING WORLDWIDE! Czech republic where I live is member of EU. I am not a dealer but private person and this mic comes from my private collection.
