An dem Steinway & Sons wurde alles in Deutschland vom Klavierbauer gemacht. Alle Verschleißteile wurden erneuert. Saitenbezug mit Heller und Röslau Saiten, Platte bei Inam in Wuppertal lackiert. Originale Hammerköpfe bei Abel neu befilzt. Wertvolle Palisanderoberfläche von Hand hochlänzend schellackpoliert. Mechanik wurde sehr gründlich vom erfahrenen Konzerttechniker reguliert und intoniert, so dass Spielart und Klang professionellen Ansprüchen gerecht wird. Der Klang ist schöner und beseelter als bei einem neuen. Spielart ist sehr genau und hält den Vergleich mit einem neuen stand. Der Steinway & Sons C kostet heute um die € 130.000. € 10.000 Aufpreis für die Palisanderoberfläche.
