If you're checking out this listing then you know you're looking at. 48th St Custom Guitars is the USA Custom Shop of ESP guitars and they build one helluva guit-box! This beauty comes through on all fronts. The cherry sunburt looks amazing with the bound body and neck and there's some subtle flame going on there too. With the maple cap over mahogany back and ebony fingerboard its got some of the LP Custom mojo going on that typical Explorers don't. The neck is wide and fast, thin but not Wizard thin. Big frets with lots of life left in them. Pretty light at 7.8 lbs so no worries about getting through a marathon rehearsal. The pickups are an absolute dream. You can get some nice rock crunk with the bridge pickup but dial your amp back and it's a great blues guitar too. They're pretty open sounding so they'd probably sound great no matter why style of music really. There are some surface scratches and nicks as you would expect but overall it has been very well cared for and is clean. We love it to death and think you will too.
