Dear musicians and collectors, you are bidding on a very old 4/4 violin. The violin comes in my opinion from the very early 19th or very late 18th century and is in a good shape. In my opinion the violin is ready to play - a new set of some great strings should be considered and you would have a very good dark sound. The bridge is just amazing.The origin of the violin is unknown.The scroll is grafted. The corners inside are present!The wood is very beautiful and the purfling looks amazing. The setup is red wood (I don't really know the exact name for it).The label says: Carlo Tononi Bolognese Fece in Venezia l A 1729The total length of the violin is 560mm; body - 363 mm.For the violin you could pay via bank transfer (free shipping as bonus for US (in case of bank transfer only); for other payments there is a fee of 79$ for the shipping), paypal, check and other methods.Wish you a successful bidding.
