-I did a save silver overhaul on this nice horn. Taken most of dents out, flushed valve casing, shined up silver plating. Silver is missing on some parts of body and you can see scratches and tear-and-wear signs but it is normal due to age and the "save silver" overhaul process.-A little history about this horn:For the first few years, Ohio Band’s primary instrument line was The Regent. Ohio Band offered a full catalog of Regent brass and woodwind instruments and band accessories, including stands, mutes, mouthpieces, reeds, etc. exclusively to dealers in the school band market, a business model that Foster Reynolds was well familiar with from his work with H.N. White’s Cleveland Band and American Standard divisions. With instruments being made on the same factory floor as F.A. Reynolds Co., Ohio Band produced approximately 5000 horns/year, a little more than twice the rate of F.A. Reynolds instruments.Compare Ohio Band’s catchphrase “Instruments of Quality” with the F.A. Reynolds slogan “Instruments of Distinction”. -This horn looks nice and plays fantastic,-Serial number is 11318-Bright silver finish,-Valves are in excellent condition and compression is very good!!-B-flat-Bell diameter is 25" and inside face of bell is lacquered with gold Selmer baked on lacquer,-The brass is still in excellent condition. Safe and sound, very thick and heavy (no rotten spots or sections)-Weight of bell and body together is about 30 pounds,-Comes with overhauled bits and neck; new hard case on wheels (MTS product) and new mouthpiece,-1 year limited warrantyNO RETURN.
