Die S 500 ist Leo Fenders ultimativer Entwurf der klassischen Str.t. Als Upgrade zu den Legacy - Modellen hat die S 500 durch den Miniswitch die Möglichkeit, alle Pickups zusammen oder auch Hals und Bridge zusammen zu betreiben. Zusammen mit dem phantastischen Vibrato, Schaller Lock - Tunern, MFD Pickups und der PTB - Schaltung eine echte Traum - Gitarre. Vom Sound her sind die G & L einer US Standard Str.t deutlich vorzuziehen, sie klingen eingespielter und bei weitem nicht so "plärrig" wie die meisten aktuellen F`s ( meinen wir jedenfalls :-) ).
