This high quality resonite bassoon is made in the USA by Fox, one of the premier bassoon makers in the world. This instrument has keywork up to High D. The pads have just been replaced, and the instrument plays beautifully. We have just finished overhauling and adjusting this instrument. It now plays cleanly and evenly up and down. This is a great starter bassoon, and because of the high quality fox design, you will find that it will play better than many lesser quality wooden ones. The bocal is unmarked and in good condition. Most of the plastic body has light scratching from normal wear in several areas around the instrument, as is expected. The plating is in very nice condition, with some wear, especially where the fingers make contact with the metal. Overall, it has held up well and is extremely clean and shiny throughout most of the instrument. The instrument still presents well. That said, the photos speak for themselves.
