Tenorgitarren sind gestimmt in Quinten, normalerweise c g d a, wie zB ein Tenorbanjo, aber die Warren Ellis kann auch wie eine Mandoline(hier: g d a e) gestimmt werden, je nach Saitenstärke!

Na, aber wie ich gerade mit einer netten ebay-Bekanntschaft konferiert habe, doch wohl eine Oktave tiefer!?!
Manche stimmen sie auch wie die 4 hohen Saiten der Gitarre, ach ein richtiges Stimmwunder, das gute Stück!Also irgendwie zwischen Mandoline und Gitarre, ein ganz spezieller, sehr interessanter Klang.
