Don't know much about this item. It is from the 1920's. A Ukelin is made to be a combination of a violin and a ukulele and was quite popular in the 20's. It lost popularity in the 1970's because the instrument was difficult to play compared to some of the newer instruments.I believe all strings are intact. Some of them may be slightly loose. It is a functioning Ukelin and aside from its old look about it, it's still completely intact. There are two cracks in the wood on the backside as the photos illustrate.
