Garrett Park Guitars1959 Gibson SJ Southern JumboEvery once in a while a cool old guitar walks in our shop just as this one did recently. In very nice shape this old girl sounds amazing! It had a center seam separation (not crack) that we tightened up with some hide glue and then set it up with new strings. It plays wonderfully and sounds superb. It had a small amount of black paint added around the sound hole which presumably was added to cover playing wear. The original brown Lifton hard shell case has been painted red.
