This is a pair of 25-inch and 27-inch Leedy timpani bowls modified from hand-tuned to chain-tuned. While the bowls are 25-inch and 27-inch diameters, the counter hoops are 27-inch and 29-inch, respectively, giving each drum a 2-inch extended collar that greatly improves the sound. The drums come with new Remo plastic heads, felted head protectors, two tuning keys per drum, and new quad stands protected with felt. Also included are the original tripod stands, useful if the drums are to be used in a chamber ensemble or other setting where space is at a premium.
