For sale: 1995 G&L S-500 in clear red.  body is ash, neck is birdseye maple with rosewood fingerboard.  Sperzel locking tuners.  Guitar is in overall very good condition.  There is some darkening/aging of the maple on the back of the neck, and some minor corrosion on the screws and trem posts, typical of a guitar that has see a lot of playing over the years.  When I was using it, I had different pickups in it (dimarzio HS-3's) to keep the hum down, but before selling I reinstalled the original G&L pickups.  I didn't reinstall the original mini-switch that allowed the use of all three pickups at the same time because that always seemed like a really stupid feature.  The body has a few minor nicks and one or two tiny, bb-sized indentations, but nothing terrible.  It's actually in very good shape for it's age.  the action is nice and low with minimal buzz, andthis was always a great playing guitar.  real solid feel to it and quality workmanship, you just may want to swap out the pickups to lose the single coil hum.  this is the usa made s-500, not the import tribute series.  auction includes the original g&l case, but I don't have the original trem arm.  The case has one foot that is a little pushed-in so it doesn't always sit upright perfectly.  It still protects the guitar just fine, but you may want to be careful trying to sit it upright.  shipping to the continental united states only, no foreign bids.
