1960 Gibson Discoverer GA-8 Vintage 1x12 Guitar Tube Amp Deluxe Brown Tweed
Estimated price for orientation: 900 $
Category: Guitar Amplifiers
Class:
Description Brand: Gibson MPN: Does Not Apply Exact Year: 1960 Country/Region of Manufacture: United States Model: GA-8 Discover
Excellent condition. My amp tech in Nashville, Jeff Hime, replaced all caps, resistors, power cord, and tubes. High quality Sprague components used. Original transformer. New Warehouse G12Q 12" speaker. The original speaker that came in these amps is so weak and thin, but putting this Warehouse in made it a very beefy and clean amp now. Overdrives with the tweed tone perfectly at a loud level. Does not get lost on stage; I've played it with full band situations. This amp is a 1959 Fender Tweed Deluxe or Princeton killer. It takes pedals very well. Amazing tone and rich harmonics you will not find in any other amp. Asking $900 or best offer! These are only going up in value and it's crazy to see the upward trend in vintage Gibson amps this year. Not only is this a smart investment, it's also a killer amp that you will love!
