This is the Flaxwood composite guitar made in Finland. It's in excellent condition and plays like a dream, low action and the frets are really finished off nice, smooth as glass and when unplugged sounds very much like an acoustic. The way these guitars are made, you can take it to any climate change and it won't be bothered by moisture in the air and take it to a dry area and it won't warp plus will stay in tune like you won't believe. The Aija is a high-gain rock guitar equipped with EMG active electronics, bridge EMG 81 active, neck EMG 85 active. The tuners, Gotoh SG360 lockable and work great, once set, stays in tune for a long time. The scale: 25.5", radius: 12", frets are jumbo and made from stainless steel so will last just about as long as the guitar. It is a very fast neck and when you run your hand down the neck you don't feel any fret burrs etc., they are really finished off great. The controls: master volume separate tone for both pickups, 3-way selector switch: 1-bridge, 2-bridge+neck, 3-neck. Comes with a Hiscox hard case which costs a couple hundred dollars by itself and is in great condition. The guitar weighs 7lbs. You won't be disappointed. All hardware is black chrome, doesn't show in pictures well but looks great in person. I bought it in 2015. . I get the best from both world's, plugged in plays fantastic and unplugged plays very close to an acoustic, great sounding guitar. The other model I have is very close to this one but has a shiny black finish. I am looking for a different Flaxwood model, Liekki or Voima, that is the only reason for selling this one. The other model I have is the Vasara and the only difference is that it has the gloss black finish and I ordered it with a tremolo, everything else is the same, just need a different model.
