Description Vintage 1966 Fender Jazz Bass Custom Colour w/Original Hard Case Fender is the most recognisable and collectable brand when it comes to vintage guitars. In 1960, Fender introduced a new line to their already strong bass catalogue – the Deluxe Model, later renamed the Jazz Bass. It focused primarily on tone, aiming at bass players who wanted to be more noticeable in the mix. Notable users of these include Geddy Lee, John Entwistle, Noel Redding, Marcus Miller, and many more.
This is no exception to the rarity and build-quality of the early 60's versions. Product Details Body: Original factory white finish / alder body.
Neck: Maple neck & rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl inlays, vintage frets (minimal wear).
Electronics: Pickup switch and volume, tone, tone knobs toggling the original pickups (12-20-66), dating to late 1966. Pot codes date to 1966.
