This is DW's version of the legendary bell brass snares. 3mm thick bronze gives it that unmistakable sound. This drum is stamped with Sept. 13, 2001 on the inside of the shell, and it's in great shape considering its age! These have been discontinued for years, and I've always preferred this model to DW's newer heavy-gauge brass/bronze snares, but I haven't been using it lately.
Minor tarnish on the shell and very small amounts of pitting on the hardware. Chrome is beautiful and shiny. You won't be disappointed with this drum.
