I am now retiring from building unique blues guitars and this will be my last one.  It is a 1960's Kay/Truetone body and neck with new Kluson Deluxe machine heads, a 1950's Gibson P-13 in the neck position, an early 60's Kay 400 series in the middle position and a Kay "Barney Kessel" adjustable pole in the bridge position.  I installed 3 - 1950 Switchcraft on/off switches for pickup selection.  The bridge is adjustable for both height and intonation.  The pots are 250K CTS with "orange drop" caps (0.22, 0.047, 0.1) with authentic 1950's Bakelite "Chicken Head" knobs.  The pick guard is a custom made one piece unit.  I custom made the Truss Rod cover to match the pick guard and the truss rod works perfectly.   I set the guitar up for a medium/low action with new Martin 10's.  It has a new camel bone nut.  Neck is straight and the frets and fretboard are very good.   I stuck a 1950's crystal light cover in place of the old 3 way switch hole.  I started out using a Fender 5 way pickup switch but decided to go with the individual switches to allow every pickup combination (including neck/bridge combo). This guitar is not a mint "stage queen" but a Blues Player Special ...it has its share of road rash, dings and scratches ... it has definitely been around the block many times, so please do not bid if you are looking for a pristine, collector guitar ...this is a player's guitar.  It has a great BB King "old style" bluesy tone.  Ask me all the questions you like.... I have built hundreds of Blue Guitars over the past 25 years, many are being played by pros in the US, Europe, Canada and Australia and many have been recorded.  This guitar is a bit of a "FrankenBlues Special" as I used a lot of left over parts from years of building.   I will try to attach a video of the guitar being played through one of my 15 watt Military Blues amps that I also sell .... if the video does not work on Ebay, you can go to Youtube under the heading of " Best inexpensive Blues amp available on the market today" and the 3rd guitar tested is the one above.  Shipping to USA or Canada is $50, Shipping to Europe, Asia or Australia is $120.
