Fantastic tone and playability.Here we have my beloved Tokai Love Rock guitar
Now then, I have had this guitar for around 4 years or so. I purchased it on holiday in the USA.Made in Korea model so it's heaps better than the current Chinese ones. Has "Sam Sung" written on the bottom of the Neck pickup, which confirms that it is Korean, but otherwise it doesn't say Made in Korea anywhere else.I don't know how old it is either but from the rust on the screws and the ageing of the machineheads I would guess at around 15+ years old.The playability of this guitar is great. I've put a new set of strings on and the guitar sounds and feels superb.Condition:
The guitar has collected a few minor dents, scuffs and scratches. It's been used and gigged and played and loved for many years. I gave it a quick wipe over with a cloth but you might find it quite rewarding, even theraputic, to spend some time with various cleaning products to see if you can get it any cleaner. I prefer to just play it myself...;o)
The frets are in very good condition, only very minor signs of wear.
The fretboard is clean and tidy too with absolutely minimal signs of wear.
The back of the neck is very clean with NO noticeable dents to impair your playing enjoyment.
The back of the body shows minor signs of buckle rash, bit difficult to photograph so I'm telling you now it has scratches. Nothing major, not through to the wood, just letting you know.Gig bag: comes with the original Tokai soft case in pretty good condition.
