This Vintage 1957 Martin O-15 Mahogany Acoustic Parlor Guitar w Case is in good vintage condition. It plays and sounds great. It has normal, expected signs of general wear and use for an instrument this age - weather checking, scuffs, scratches, tiny dings. There are some repaired and unrepaired stable cracks. On one side in particular, you can see some discoloration and residual glue from the repair job. On the bottom there is a small stable crack. (There may be minuscule hairline cracks that are hard to detect for the naked eye. Please zoom into photos.)As far as I can tell, the neck has been reset, strap button has been added to the heel and the neck nut was changed. Everything else appears original. This guitar plays and sounds great- very nice classic vintage Martin sound, loud and articulate.
Very low action at 1/16" (if you play aggressively, you might find it too low).
Straight neck. I do not detecting lifting of the bridge saddle area.
