For Sale a 1943 Martin 000-28 Guitar in Excellent Condition.  This guitar was purchased from a friend of mine many years ago.  The guitar belonged to his father and he busted the top.  It was send back to Martin around 1968 and a new top was put on and completely restored.  However, in the sixties Martin guitars were just used guitars and the rage of collecting had not begun.  Martin replaced the tuners with Klusons and used the binding on the top that they were using at the time-not herringbone.  The original top had a pickup installed and a hole for the connector cord in the lower bout.  That hole was filled and is barely noticeable. So with the repairs/refinish/replaced parts the value falls way, way, way off. There are no cracks, splits, big dings ect. The original owner passed away soon after the repairs and his son isn't a player, so there is not much wear on this guitar.  I have very rarely played it in all the years I have owned it  .If you are interested in a wonderful sounding Martin 000-28, Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, straight neck and perfect set up, this may be something you would be interested in.May be seen in Dallas, TX and pickup would be my preferred way to get it to you.USA only, please.I will try to get some better pictures posted, without the shadows.
