I am now selling my Wheatstone Duet Crane Aeola which, in spite of being 90 years old, is in pristine condition. Bought several years ago from Chris Allgar after being restored. Plays and sounds wonderful. A fast player with medium key spacing. I normally play an Anglo but this restricts my singing (Respect to those who can sing and play the Anglo at the same time). The Duet was going to solve this problem but I find it too difficult to make the transition. Steel reeds and tight bellows. Serial number 311998 which according to the ledgers should be about1927. No damage, cracks, leaks or any other issues. A couple of the end screws have been replaced and there are several spares. The photos don't do justice to this instrument or the original case. Neither the concertina nor the case are the least bit brown. They're coal-black.The case shows only a very light patina and the instrument nothing at all. To sum it up this is a dream of an instrument and to help you get your dream, I'll pay for the shipping worldwide, whatever it states anywhere else in this listing. The same goes for item location. It's SWEDEN.International Buyers - Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
