Mr. Di Zhao was the chief engineer for a major flute manufacturer in Boston until he decided to start his own flute company.  Hand-cut headjoints with undercuts and overcuts make the sound quality full and easy to play.  In other words, this flute has nice tone and is very free blowing. The headjoint on this particular flute was specifically cut for a university flute professional.  The flute comes with hard case, cleaning/tuning stick, and a smaller and larger crutch (iow, two different size crutches).  This flute is all silverplated and pads are good.
