Up for sale is an Artley 19R Bassoon & Heckel CD1 post-war bocal. The bassoon has a composite body and nickel plated keys.It is in working condition and is in very good aesthetic condition, will probably need a trip to your local repair tech when you get it as there are a couple key corks that have been "medic'd" with electricians tape. The bocal is probably worth $800 or more by itself, definitely a good move on the former owners partThis bassoon is considered to be a decent quality student - intermediate range instrument. These were made at the former Linton factory for UMI back in the 90's early 2000's.The S/N (difficult to read) on the bassoon is: P0004412The original wood case is fully functional (all latches work and the interior is still sturdy). The case shows signs of wear in common areas, but looks good regardless. The Heckel bocal is likewise in good condition. From what I can see, there are no previous repairs (dent/patches) that have been done on the bocal. The text on the bocal reads as follows from left (the tip) to right (the cork):Wz. oesgeschutztHeckel BiebrichMade in GermanyCD1The asking price for the bassoon and bocal is $2,500.The bassoon will ship via UPS Ground Service for no cost to the buyer at the Buy It Now asking price. If we accept your offer you will be paying the shipping and insuranceNO RETURNS UNLESS ITEM IS NOT AS DESCRIBEDNO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPINGEmail me if you have any questions regarding this listing!
