Here's a 1977 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in a factory original wine red finish. The top is in good condition and about average playwear. The pickups are DiMarzio Humbuckers and they sound really warm and responsive. The tuners were changed to Schallers.  The pots are original and date to 1977. The serial number is 73227565 and it's stamped "Made In USA".  The neck is straight and the frets are original and in decent condition. The top has a few dings and average type of play wear. The back has some buckle rash. The 3 piece maple neck is clean and straight. This is a nice vintage piece that has a fresh set up and is ready to go. Please look at all 50+ pictures- they accurately represent the condition of this instrument. She has a 60's neck profile. It has just been deep cleaned and detailed. The front, back, sides and neck were waxed and buffed with a high grade carnuba wax. The frets were polished and the fingerboard was cleaned, buffed and moisturized with an instrument grade lemon oil. It was set up with 10/46's, adjusted and plays very nicely. All the electronics work well. It has a good set up and plays very nicely. Comes with a gig bag.    Here's an excerpt from a previous owner who saw it up on ebay ----I noticed this auction and interestingly -  I am a former owner of this guitar. I purchased it in 1981 (when i was 13) from Mike's Pawnshop in Birmingham, Alabama for $350 and then later installed all of the customizations including the brass nut, Schaller tuners, fine tuning bridge and Dimarzio pickups. The bridge pickup is a Super Distortion and the neck is a Dual Sound and it is linked to the toggle switch by the volume and tone knobs. All of the work was done at a store in Birmingham called Music Alley. It looks great and I am happy to see it and that it's been well cared for. Good luck with the auction and feel free to hit me up if you have any questions about the history of the instrument. And by the way, I sold the original mini humbuckers to Peter Stroud who is the guitarist for Sheryl Crow!
