You are looking at a rare Washburn RS-10V. I purchased this guitar new in 1987 from "Horns, Strings, and Things" a Washburn dealer in Tennessee. This was absolutely built in Chicago, Illinois. I paid $600 for it new and that was a lot of cash for a guitar back then, my research shows that it's equivalent to $1352.34 in today's dollars. This is the early version with the carved Quilt Maple top. I'm thinning the herd and since I never play this one I thought I would offer it for sale. These do have a cult following and I sure someone will be pleased to have a chance to take ownership. The guitar served me well back in the late 80's and early 90's. I always took great care of it and it was never abused. Please note the pic from the back of the neck of the bolts for the locking nut. It does show cracks in the finish. The cracks are finish only and the neck is solid with no repairs. The guitar is 100% all original. The original case is long gone, it was stolen during a gig years ago. Comes with a replacement case that does the job. I rate the guitar in very good condition, or a little better. There is a lot of rumor certain serial numbers were handmade by Paul Reed Smith himself, the guitar was only made the last year he was under contract with washburn. This one will sell quickly, don't miss out. It may be awhile before you find one again.
