At The Music Locker we will do all we can for you to get the instrument you want, including part-exchanges. Call us anytime on 07970061897 or 07831118877 to discuss.DescriptionThis amplifier was made in 1964, hence an extremely rare amplifier. The Truvoice was the highest Selmer range of the day, built to a quality that holds true today. This is the highly desirable “Croc-skin” version. It still has the original piggy back screws for the cabinet attachment, which is very rare! This sale also included the original Selmer cover! From The Beatles to Pink Floyd, just about every band in the sixties had a Selmer Truvoice at some point and it would be fair to say that these amps made up a huge chunk of the British tone. We’re absolutely mad about this Selmer Bassmaster Head & Cab! It’s been on Jools Holland, Glastonbury Pyramid Stage, and much more with the amazing band Ultrasound (currently reformed)!Product DetailsWatts: 50Valves: 4x ECC83, 2x EL34, 1x GZ34 Speaker Configuration: 2 x 12"Service History We pride ourselves on the inspection, authentication, and service of each amplifier to UK standards and regulations. Please note that it is the philosophy of The Music Locker to keep all amplifiers as original as possible, only changing original components when absolutely necessary. This includes valves, capacitors, transformers, potentiometers, etc. This gives the buyer the option of tailoring to their exact needs, and may mean that the amplifier is not operating at optimum performance levels. Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the amplifier in more depth upon receiving. The Music Locker cannot accept responsibility for any costs of refurbishment to a standard different to the one advertised. Cosmetic ConditionThis item is still in great condition after its 50+ year old lifetime. There is nothing significant to report other than the tears to the amps skin & cloth which are visible in the pics! Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description. OriginalityWe believe this amp to be all original apart from the disconnected ohm dial on the back panel (this will be safely covered before shipping).Summary Overall, this is a very rare and collectible amplifier. Not only is this sure to increase in value year on year, but also it can be an enjoyed investment. You’re more than welcome to come along and have a play on this, coupled with one of our vintage guitars! Where else but at The Music Locker! If you click and buy through eBay, please pay (or make contact) with us within 24 hours, in order to let us know your payment plan. Please also be aware that each amplifier is serviced to UK regulations and our customers overseas may need to make slight alterations to meet electric requirements, of which The Music Locker cannot accept responsibility for. Please make sure you are aware of this before buying.
