As close to new as one can get. I don't see any blemishes. The gold lacquer finish is unlike most other saxes - much darker and looks like real gold. There's engraving all over this sax. This has just been sitting around and admired for a couple of years, aside from recent playing by me before it sells. It has a big sound, modern ergonomics, plays like a dream.
