Made circa 1926 in Los Angeles, California by Weissenborn. This gorgeous example of a rare Style 3 Hawaiian guitar is crack-free and completely original with only minor repair work to reglue the original bridge and a couple of loose brace ends. The original finish is untouched with the typical fine checking you see on vintage Weissenborn guitars. Weissenborn made relatively few Style 3 guitars, as it was the second most expensive option in the catalog. Most wealthy people would just buy a Style 4. This guitar has the Stadlmair stamp inside. The Henry Stadlmair Company sold Weissenborn guitars through their catalog in the 1920's as the "Sole East Coast Distributors". I bought this guitar from the daughter of the original owner, she had kept it safe for many years and it sounds amazing.
