This mod was developed in response to the needs of the players in the large variety theater shows in Branson and Nashville. With the diverse variety of music that is presented in these shows, the players are constantly having to change guitars to get the sounds they want for the individual songs. The universal problem is that these shows move at such a fast pace, there simply isn’t enough time to to make the desired instrument changes. They needed one guitar that would take the place of two. Haywire Custom Guitars answered this problem by creating a hybrid of the two most popular single and double cutaway style solid body guitars into one versatile instrument. No more running around to change guitars during a live performance when you have this guitar. Change from country to rock sounds with a mere flip of a switch!The solid six-saddle vintage style bridge and matched pickup allows the player to get those classic twangy Nashville country tones, while the three pickup design with enhanced switching configuration allows the player to evoke the sounds of Hendrix, Clapton, and everything in between. The "Number One" comes standard with either the active EMG SA Series pickups, the passive style Lollar Black Face Series Neck pickups. This combination includes a Fender Strat body and a smooth Custom Satin finished neck.

Middle is RWRP for humbucking operation in positions 2 and 4. Flatpole.
Neck 6.4KA key feature unique to this particular guitar mod is the ability to accommodate either a 25-1/2" or a 24-3/4" (Gibson®) scale neck with no body or neck modifications. The solid six-saddle vintage style bridge creates lots of sustain and allows for precise intonation verses the standard 3-saddle vintage bridge. The fingerboard, or playing surface of the guitar neck, is usually curved or radiused across its width. The purpose of this radius is to accommodate the natural ergonomic shape of your fingers when they are in playing position. Comfort is certainly a major factor in selecting a fingerboard radius but it is not the only factor. Musical Style... the fingerboard radius must also allow you to play the style of music you prefer.
