c.1989 RR R8: This very rare guitar was marketed under the RR brand name as part of the Fenders Heartfield brand. This particular model has a a Fender scale length and the same bridge as the Fender American Standard Stratocaster. The electronics are active and have push button selectors with LED lights that allow for single coil, humbucker and humbucker with a built in distortion. There are three adjustable trim pots that are accessible through an opening in the back panel. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the on board distortion sounded. The neck is a thin and fast and the frets show just a hint of wear. The guitar has a few minor nicks and chips but is over all in great shape. Includes a deluxe gig bag as shown.Guitars can experience slight changes in shipping that may require minor adjustments. In addition, I can not predict how you like your guitar set up.
