So, you would be hard pressed to find another guitar using burled mahogany and if you did, you would expect to pay an arm and a leg for it's rich tone and extreme beauty! the pickups were wound, if I understand correctly, using the original Gibson PAF winding machines and using the same copper batch that Gibsn used in the late 50s and early 60s. This guitar has sustain out of this world and tone to die for. The guitar and amp combo cost me over $13,000 and I am selling it to you for over 30% less than that! ONLY because I have two other incredible PRS guitars and there are a couple of beautiful amplifiers that I want to buy. Regarding the amp- it is a 20 watt had wired, point to point amp and the model is called a Custom 20. It has reverb, Presence, a clean channel and an overdriven channel. On the back there is an effects loop and the ability to use the amp with 40%, 80% or 100% of it's power! There is a DIRECT OUT and an input for a bias-rite so you can bias the power tubes simply and without opening the chassis! This amp is most advanced in SO many ways. That is why MANY professionals choose to use PRS today. Including Warren Haynes, Carlos Santana, Ted Nugent, Dave Navarro, Al DiMeola, Mark Tremonti, Steve Wilson and so many more. I could go on singing the amp and guitar's praises for several pages. But I think that most people know that these are some of the absolute best guitars being manufactured today. And not only that but this set in particular is one of the top of their line! The wooden face plate even matches the stunning purple, blue, blackish, even green hue! The guitar has what they call a C-neck and it plays like butter! It came with 10-gage strings installed but it is so easy to play that anyone would think that there are 9s on this guitar! As I stated the set was over $13,000! I believe that it will surely go up in price just because the quality is over the top. It is one of a kind using PRS 59/09 TM pickups. They sound AMAZING!!!!!! Also, another INCREDIBLE design is the maple fret board!!! It is absolutely maple but it has been stained with their "Northern Lights" color and it now matches the rest of the guitar. But it still has the feel and snap of a maple neck! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! The design of this guitar stopped at nothing! No short cuts and no expense was spared! YOU will not be disappointed and if you are at all unhappy, I am offering a 48 hour no questions asked refund period! One last thing I would like to mention is the binding on this and other top of the line PRS guitars- The binding is a piece of flamed maple that gives the guitar that fancy over the top appointment. The covers on the back of the electronics and the sammy-bar springs are made of ebony, which I personally replaced. And the tuning keys are cocobolo with MOTHER OF PEARL inlays! These other appointments make the guitar stand out from other PRS guitars. This is one of the very best that you will see and they don't get much better.
