Beautiful original Ovation 1651 Legend Limited for sale. This guitar was the model that John Lennon chose to use on his Double Fanatasy LP, and there are pictures of him playing it , so it became the "John Lennon" model. Ovation Reissued this guitar I believe in 2008 or so. The guitar is all original. There is a piece of binding on the neck missing. this is an easy fix. The stacked tone/volume control know is gone, but the system works fine. Also, a chip out of the headstock that is mostly on the back. I tried to show this in the pictures. This plays great and sounds fantastic. The top has no "belly" , the bridge is sound and there are no separations at the neck joint. This comes with what i believe is the original hardshell Ovation case. This is a rare piece.
