At Music Store Live we're all musicians like you, and we know how hard it can be to afford all the gear that you want and need. We encourage you to make us an offer. Often times, you'll be pleasantly surprised! Additionally, don't hesitate to contact us regarding financing options. We'll do everything we can to help get that next piece of gear into your hands. Player's Perspective PRS consistently outdoes themselves in terms of quality, consistency, and tone. The straightforward Custom 22 is a dynamic and lively instrument with everything you need for great sound and nothing that'll slow you down. Hot, responsive, and rich, the pickups on this guitar respond well through high-gain and clean settings. You'll have a tough time finding a guitar that feels better than this - it plays exceptionally well even by PRS standards. Bends are effortless and the neck is super comfortable and fast. With the diversity of sounds you can get out of this thing, it can cut any gig in the world, period. The new PRS 85/15 pickups sound clear - whether you are going for a clean tone or something overdriven with some more grit. They are modeled after the original pickups that Paul put in his guitars back in 1985, when they opened up shop in Maryland. Aside from the obvious difference of having 2 fewer frets than the Custom 24, one of the big tonal differences comes in having that neck pickup directly underneath the third harmonic (with 22 frets). That provides for more richness and more harmonic content being picked up in the neck pup. This Custom 22 is for the player who wants to inspire and be inspired every time they pick up their guitar. Manufacturer's Description The Custom 22 is a classic workhorse with all the tones you’ve come to expect from your PRS with a distinctive, warm midrange and clarity thanks, in part, to its 85/15 treble and bass pickups.
