The first and only full-depth hollow body, double cutaway, archtop humbucker model Gibson ever made. Built in very modest numbers from 1969-1975. The Natural blondes are far more rare and desirable – well-outnumbered by the more common Walnut guitars 3 to 1.A player’s guitar with very versatile sounds. Great blues and classic warm, rich jazz tones on the neck pickup. Bright bridge pickup with clear highs and many blending options in the middle. Slim, fast neck profile makes chord melody a breeze, and great for fast-picking too. This is a One-Owner guitar, all original and 100% complete. I bought it new in 1970, played it professionally part-time for a couple of years, then changed careers and played it only infrequently at home since then. Now, with too many guitars and too little time, it needs a new home with someone who will appreciate it and enjoy it as I have for many years. A great and pristine find.CONDITION: Excellent condition for a 48-year old. Some minor nicks and typical finish imperfections visible at close range. See close-up photos. Structurally sound with no splits, breaks, modifications or repairs. All electronics work very well. Pro setup and fret work done by Gary Brawer SF results in a great playing neck with excellent frets and low action. FEATURES: The original dual PAF humbuckers are fat and sweet. Individual volume and treble controls. Master volume control. Slim and fast D profile neck, with excellent medium jumbo frets. The fingerboard is effortless to play. The entire neck is very fast and easily reached with the double cutaway. The 16" body is very comfortable and easy to hold. The body is substantially resistant to feedback. A handsome and highly playable instrument.SIZE: Body 19 1/4" long, 15 7/8" wide, 3" deep, joins neck at 19th fret. Scale length 24 3/4", 22 frets. Very light weight, at 6.7 pounds.
