Up for sale, one Fender Custom Shop "Splatter" Caster. Ordered from the Fender Custom shop in 2003, delivered to Heart of Texas Music in Austin Texas, in July 2004. I am the original owner and the guitar has only been played in my home. The guitar has NEVER been disassembled and all pick ups and vibrato are in their original configuration. Only the strings have been removed and replaced. There are no defects, no damage, there might be some faint pick marks on the pick gaurd. The volume control has an additional Fender S-1 switch. Seymour Duncan humbucker in the bridge position. The other 2 pick ups are single coil Texas Specials. Comes with all the original tags, polish cloth, extra springs, case keys, and I'll throw in the red strap. The "SplatterCasters" came out in the early 2000's and I requested red on white. They chose a very nice flame maple neck for this guitar, see the pictures. Its a one of a kind , it plays well, and I have enjoyed this guitar for 10 plus years, but I have too many and this one has to go.
