For auction is a "Master" or "Master Link" model alto saxophone mouthpiece made by Otto Link in New York.  Originally these were produced between 1920 and 1935, and carrying a serial number of BB23 my best guess is that this was made around 1930-1931.  This mouthpiece has the rare #2 facing, which was intended to give a rich, warm, dark tone.  The Master model was Otto Link's first mouthpiece, and this is an excellent example.  I have hand polished this only to clean, no buffing wheel was used that would round edges or remove metal.  This mouthpiece is supplied with its original ligature.OK, for the legal stuff:  The photographs shown are of the actual item being sold.  Winning bid to make payment in full (with Paypal only) within 3 days of the close of auction.  Please note that all sales are final and no returns will be accepted (look at it this way, if I wanted it back, would I sell it at all?).  International customers will be responsible for any import taxes, duties or costs.  All international customers will be billed the actual cost of shipping, with insurance.  All orders will be shipped by USPS where possible.  A note about international deliveries - I do not make profit on shipping charges, however shipping item(s) with insurance can be expensive.  No shipments will be made without insurance unless waived by the buyer and all loss/damage risk is assumed by the buyer.  Please ask any questions as soon as possible to give me an opportunity to respond.  Oh, please don't ask me to misrepresent the value for duty or tax purposes - I won't.
