This is a rare Edwards model from 2004. Our second child has arrived so I'll be clearing out much more of my collection over the coming weeks. The specs on this guitar are extremely high. This finish is "Heritage Dark Cherry' sunburst which is no longer made. This guitar is made from Solid Carved Hard Flamed Maple on top and back. This sides are hard maple. Not laminated like Gibsons. There is a solid mahogany center block. The finish is "Lacquer Taste" which is nitro over a very thin poly base. The neck is a very smooth fast neck that Edwards are known for. The frets have recently been leveled and crowned w/approximately 70% left. The pickups are Seymour Duncan. The neck is a deep joint set neck, like highest end Gibsons. The guitar comes with a very high quality ESP case. The guitar is in excellent condition. There are a few small chips on the headstock. There is a small dent in the back of the neck behind the 10th fret. This is on the lower part of the neck and your thumb never touches it. There is a very tiny binding separation that I've tried to photograph. I put some super glue down into the crack a few years ago and it hasn't budged. Overall a stunning guitar that plays and sounds great. I wouldn't really consider a Gibson over an Edwards SA. These are amazing guitars.
