1953 LesPaul conversion to 59 burst . This beautiful gold top had a neck accident in the seventies , she got an overhaul the headstock was repaired the aging gold top was sanded off and there was a nice light flame maple top under the gold and got refinished in sunburst in the seventies and had humbuckers routed in I think the pickups are late sixties or seventies Gibson pickups. None of the hardware on this beauty is original just the guitar itself. She could use a little TLC she has been sitting for a while the nut needs to be raised a little the b string buzzes a little at the first fret when plucked open , needs a new Input jack . she sounds very sweet like a 59 ,nthe wood they used on Les Pauls in the fiffties different then what they have now . You can't imitate the feel sound and look from a real handmade Les Paul from the fifties.
