Description
Model Year: 1994 Brand: Gibson
Model: Les Paul Studio

You are viewing a "Trans Blue" 1994 (referred to by some as a "good wood" year) Gibson Les Paul Studio Lite, which is full of both mojo and tone! Definitely a "player," as opposed to a "museum piece," this guitar is still in good condition, is all original (except for a creme/plastic pickup ring, which was replaced with a genuine Gibson part--original cracked part will be included, if requested). This sweet guitar has a '60s neck profile, along with a super-fast, genuine ebony fretboard. There is some fret wear, but there is no buzzing. She plays just fine as is. As would be expected on a guitar this age (which has not been in storage or just hung on a wall), there are some marks (pictured), but no breaks. Again, I would say "she" has aged quite well. "Tone for days" (or "Classic Gibson Grunt") is available, courtesy of the 496R/500T (ceramic magnet) humbuckers. NOTE: The truss rod cover is identical to the (original) one issued with the "MIII" version of this guitar, which has the same body/weight reduction, but more of a "super-Strat" pickup configuration. For those who are concerned with weight, it is 7.9lbs, per my digital/postal scale. This particular model retains the classic mahogany body/maple cap formula; the only weight-saving measure (performed at the Gibson factory during the manufacturing process), was the installation of small block of "chromyte" (similar to balsa wood), between the two pickup cavities. This potent axe also comes with an original '90s brown "Lifton" case, complete with shroud. It shows some wear/marks, and is in "fairly good" shape; by "good," I mean "not too many marks, all major latches work, but the combo lock/latch is broken." In other words, the guitar is still very well protected! **Thanks for looking and please read the TERMS below: ***Note: I don't provide serial numbers for the masses, but will gladly furnish the number to the winning bidder, before payment is made. ****I have shipped many guitars without incident; I ship/pack with care and only sell genuine products.
