The guitar pictured is the actual guitar you will receive! At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving. This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.   The DCX1AE Macassar dreadnought cutaway is an affordable, great sounding, durable guitar. This DCX1AE is a D-14 fret body cutaway acoustic electric guitar crafted of solid Sitka Spruce top with Macassar patterned HPL back and sides. With this solid wood top, the tone will age gracefully as the wood matures, and give you enhanced harmonics and greater tonal balance as the years go by. The 20 fret Richlite fretboard sits atop a 25.4" scale Birch laminiate neck with a Performing Artist shape and High Performance taper. The slimmer neck profile is easy on your hand, allowing you to play those extended sessions in comfort. Additional features include non-scalloped X-bracing, white corian nut, compensated white tusq saddle, and mulit-stripe rosette. Also equipped with Fishman Sonitone electronics with volume and tone controls for stage-ready use. This guitar is required to be listed as seller refurbished by the manufacturer. It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it! Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects. If there is a visible defect it will be indicated in pictures and in the description. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.
